SCREW SELF DRILLING T17

  • Has a special long sharp self drilling point with a flute (Type 17) that cuts the timber fibres as it is screwed in.
  • Timber fibres are collected in the flute and reduces the potential for splitting.
  • The self drilling type 17 point can also pierce light gauge steel up to 0.6mm without predrilling. The head is a hex flanged.
  • Easy to install using a 5/16” socket for 10 and 12 gauge or 3/8” socket for 14 gauge or appropriate driver bit in a power tool.
